I can't get through to my loca DSS office...so, what do i need to take with me when i apply for medacaid to show the caseworker? do i need my marrige liscense if only i'm applying???

yes. the count both incomes. you need both birth certificates or proof of citzenship. social security cards. proof of pregnancy , since your married proof of all income. proof of residency. thats mail with your name and address. if you have children. you will need their birth certificates and ss cards. my mom went through this good luck. oh just so you know if you dont tell them your married and they find out you could be arrested and charged with fraud

If you are married you do need your marriage certificate, social security card(yours), info if you rent or own your home, bank account info if applicable, income information like pay check stubs, any prior medical bills. It also depends on what state that you are applying. You also need proof of pregnancy and address verification along with work verification and if you are working if your job offers health insurance and when you will be eligible for it.

ss card, birth cert (you and kids if any), pay stubs, spouses if any, marriage record, proof of address, and photo id.
