'fall down', I can't explain it better than that I'm afraid, have you heard of this before? If you have, what can I do about it? I do have quite muscular legs as I walk a lot.

Only one of your legs? It's called muscles relaxing. If you are not standing but lying down, then the muscles in your legs are not being required to constrict or carry weight. It's a good thing. Now, if you get spasms in you muscles when you're lying down, then that's not a good thing.
