Blackpool is definately in Lancashire.
I was born and still live in Blackpool and therefore dislike the nasty comments that have so far been posted.
If you are born in Blackpool you are referred to as a 'Sand Grown 'Un'

Well Blackpool is in Lancashire, there is no definitive nick name for someone from Lancashire just lads n' lasses. Or Lanky folke
