Gonna be out of town, with NO ONE available to look after our simple 10 gal aquarium. (Guppies mainly)....
What's the secret to our fish having supper for 7 days without us?

Like the others said, there are vacation feeders. I reall like the shell shaped feeders that you just drop in the tank.
I have a 10 gallon tank and used a Wardley weekend feeder which lasted 5 days with my 5 guppies and 1 Betta. And I have used them several times. You can see that brand at the PetCo listing below.
Also PetSmart has another brand.

Go to your local Whal-Mart in the pet area for fish there is a food dispenser that will feed your fish same time everyday it attaches to the aquarium. Or go to a near by pet store they to should have something. Good Luck

They have vaction feeders at places like Walmart. It works pretty well, although the water did get a little cloudy, it was nothing to worry about. They have 3 day and 10 day feeders I think!

go to a store and buy a feeder.thye come in different shapes sizes and colors.mainly how it works is you put them in the tank and slowly the food will break and float, giving the fish a chance to get it.if you have a big tank you might want to get 2. i believe they have feeders that will give food for up to a week.

you get an automatic feeder. it's a timer with place to place food in. when enough time has elapsed it drops food into tank. you can set the intervals.
fish can go 3 days easily without food.

yes i believe they have these little tabs that you drop in the water and they slowley dissolve, feeding the fish each day. i have some for when i go on weekend trips, but i haven't tried them yet... i think they have ones that go for 7 days. i got the three day ones. well good luck with the fishies. :)

you can get special blocks here in australia and they last for weeks
but i don't know about america or any where elses ask the people in a pet store or where u got your fish from

YOU CAN USE TIME RELEASED FOOD. YOU CAN GET IT AT PET STORE. OR GET AN ELECTRONIC FEEDER.
