They cost about 300 and up. They have a lazer etched CC on the corner of the glass.

If you buy it off some vendor in union square San Francisco, it's fake. If you buy it at Saks 5th avenue. It's real. LOL

Chanel don't manufacture sunglasses so in theory they're all fake. You will be paying a ridiculous premium for a label and will look cheap unless you have the complete outfit to go with them.

You can check for real polarised lenses by looking through the test lense onto a definately polarised lens. rotate the top lense, if you see regular rainbow patterns appear, the test lens is polarised.
Might not help with channel, but is true none the less.

It depends where did you buy it. If you had it from vendors in Asian countries, definitely an imitation/fake. You should buy in a proper shops like duty free shops or Chanel shop itself

They are cheap. If you hold it against your eye level and move up and down objects also will move up and down.Brand names may not be there,if at all there it will be deceptively similar to popular brands(but spelling different). There will not be warranty card.

If they're called 'channel' then that's a fairly good pointer....the correct spelling is 'chanel'.
