They are categorised by the arm they use for bowling and the stance they take for batting.

It depends on many factors. First, one has to observe that from which hand .i.e. front or back hand does a batsman get his power. If you notice, it is usually the hand that gives this power is the hand with which one bowls. I know this because I myself bat left handed but bowl with the right arm.

everything is not certain,
I don't think it depends on the hand they use for bowling,or batting,it may also be the arm which is used to throw .
