well the new found hate for the 48 begins with his cheating crew chief. 0 use for knauss and his squirrley lookin' face.

then you go into his recent domination of the sport (everyone loves to hate the guy winning) look at everyone during their prime.. look at how much crap kenseth took after his cup win?? and of course the hate with gordon, smoke, and so on..

and with the domination he also gets postered as a golden boy through nascar.. i mean a few weeks ago when robby gordon was running good it became the robby gordon show, and people started hating him. for the longest time jimmie was just kind of one of those quiet competitors like mark martin. he did his thing, had success, but noone really talked about it. now that they talk about it more people hear the name..it's a viscous cycle.

then of course you got that jeff owns part of his car..

and so on.. i don't think anyone really hates jimmie, but has to hate him for some reason when he's not their driver..
i know i like jimmie. but have to laugh at the 48 haters..and i'm a 24 girl and have to rip on my friend who is a 48 fan, and then he goes back with me and my 20 LOL.. it's all in good fun with some people, and then others have no life, or lack of a good driver

Shhhh! Take it back before you get answers! Oh, too late. LOL I don't hate Jimmie Johnson, I actually kind of like him. Everyone has their own opinions whether they like a driver or not. Let them have their opinion. You know if it's right or wrong!:)

number one reason, he works for Jeff Gordon! And everyone around my area, hates Jeff Gordon. Second reason is that Nascar is promoting him as another toyboy/prettyboy thing to promote sales and marketing. I wish Nascar would get back into the business of Racing and not marketing. It makes drivers basically assume the persona of a prize race horse. Why do you think that certain Nascar teams get the perks of quality money and info that makes one team better than the other. Hendricks doesn't struggle like Petty is struggling right now. think about it.

Because he is associated with Jeff Gordon and because he wins alot...oh, and he's from California. I think people think you need to be from the south and race for like five years before you should win anything. Go #48!!!

Mainly because his teammate, and part owner of the #48 car, is Jeff Gordon...also his crew chief, Chad Knaus, has a tendency to do illegal 'mechanical massaging' and 'unfair creative manipulation' to his cars!

I don't know exactly why I don't like him. Just something about him bothers me. I think that most people don't like him because he is on Jeff Gordon's team, a lot of people think he cheated, and he wins a lot.

GO DALE GO!!!!!!!#8

Because Jimmie is good and most people who watch NASCAR are drunken rednecks who root for JR
