Itchy eyes are often caused by pollen or other irritants in the air during the summer. It is a vicious circle though, as the more you rub eyes affected by allergies, the more you are spreading the irritant. Try using an eye bath or soothing eye drops to help ease the itchiness.
It could however be an infection such as conjunctivitous which may need a course of anti-biotics to clear up - and is extremely contagious - so it may be worth getting your GP to check it out to be on the safe side.

No chance of hay fever.May be due to dust particles.Wash both eyes with clean water every two hours.Have Sun Glass when going outside.Still if it persists see eye specialist.

you might want to get drops but should also see a doctor if the symptons are really frequent or get worse.

try using some optrex, that should clear up the problem fine, and you can buy it over the counter
if you are getting discharge then id say it is conjunctivitus and use "optrex- infected eyes"
