Because diamonds are most expensive and not exactly worth it to buy. That's my opinion, if I had a diamond, I'd like the dirtiest one that's selling. Dirty diamonds are less expensive.

Faced with a mountain of shiney stones, most guys won't go looking for a diamond unless they are sure that there's one there to be found.

Well, I don't think that is true of all guys. But, for those it is true for, I believe it is about image more than quality of the bling. :)
