uh... if he's just her friend, why will she kiss him?
anyway... errr... get him a cd he likes or maybe... a video game? if i had to get my friend a gift... it would be..... an Alex Rider book. he loves the series... just get him something that will show that you care about him coz he's your friend, but not something too "so when's our next date?" ...

Make him a mix of his favorite music, put it on a CD and give it to him. Or you can get him like a nice t-shirt that says something on it.
