eating meat is definately good unless you excercise regularly. Otherwise as meat has lotta fat content, it may lead in increasing cholesterol and triglycerides which may result in heart attack. So i would say eathing anything heavy rich in fat is always good if it is followed by proper excersise.

Okay, here's the deal. Treating animals the way we do IS wrong. Even in so-called free range meats, there's no real guarentee that the animals are treated that much better. So should you go back to Foster Farms, etc? No, not at all. But knowing the practices of the companies that you purchase from is the first step to being a conscientous consumer.
I choose not to eat much meat at all. The rest of my family are all vegetarians. So if I'm having some chicken, I'm having it alone! LOL
Ultimately, for me, it comes down to the idea of animals shouldn't be abused just because they can be! And my meat eating is getting less and less as I get closer and closer to actually raising my own food. Right now, I have a largish organic veggie garden and hope to add chickens in the near future. But the idea, for me, of killing something I've cared for (as in raising a chicken or five) is abhorrent. I just couldn't bring myself to wring it's neck. So when the time comes, I'm sure I'll stick to eggs - unfertilized eggs!

Bad, because it causes the suffering of another being and the mass demand we create by ALL eating only a little justifies the crap of battery farming and the like. But sometimes in some climates it is necessary to fuel what Gandhi called the body;
"The slaughterhouse of the soul".

Very good idea.
1. If you are Christian/God Fearing, God gave you teeth to tear meat apart.
2. If you are not a Christian, i.e. a non-believer, evolution gave you the teeth of an omnivore, you eat what you can get hold of, meat especially.
3. Good meat is hard to find. Enjoy it when you do.

I think the conditions for the animals are terrible in traditionally produced meat. Why should they suffer? You are absolutely right.

well, my thoughts are basically that i don't like to eat meat much unless it's chicken. now, sometimes i will, but i try not to that much. it's not a huge conviction for me yet, but i do look up to those that are vegetarians or have their own views and stay away from certain meats like you. that's very cool!
remember me? you gave me best answer for somethin. :) thanks!

I kind of like the vegetarian idea, but I couldn't do it. I love meat way too much. It's bad, but so good!
