Does this mean that she is jealous of me or what?

It depends on the kind of facial change you see in her whenever you are complimented. If it is a frown or a pout, she may not be very happy about the complimens you receive which is a sign of envy or jealousy and this is not good. A true friend should be happy about the good things that her friends have. Analyze her friendship. Look at her good side. If the good outnumbers the bad, just don't mind her. Help her to be pleasant and if there's something in her that she should change, help her to find that out. At the end, if her personality improves with your help, your friendship will blossom and both of you will get side by side compliments from the peoople around you. True friendship will be the fruit of your understanding and helping her. You will not lose a friend but in stead you will gain a true friend.

No, she is not jealous of you. The reason she reacts primarily is because she is a girl...that's first of all. Second, if she doesn't receive a compliment comparable to yours by the same persons, then she begins to question herself and wonder if she wasn't good enough. Just think if you were standing next to a girl and you two looked just as good as the other, and she received a compliment, but nothing was said about you. That would definitely get you curious, as well you should be. Maybe it is not jealousy, but she is trying to figure out why you get the compliments and why she gets passed over like a bunch of Hebrew slaves in ancient Egypt. You know how much girls love attention and you should take this into consideration the next time you get a compliment and she gets nothing. Other than that, you may just be better looking than she is, I don't know.

this thing is natural between girls, whenever u r in a group or with a bestfriend and someone compliments, she will feel bad cos maybe no one compliments on her, she's not jealous.
