Without a doubt it's Mark Knoppfler.Have you ever heard the album he did with Chet Atkins?It's called "Pickin' on Nashville".If you haven't ,check it out.Whether you like country music or not it's a great album.

mark knoppfler is a guitar player---neil young is a guitar strummer

Knopfler. He's known for being a guitarist, whereas Young is known more for being a singer/songwriter.

well i really like both of thats a hard one but it has to be mark knoppfler , or put that aside it would be david gilmour , pinkfloyd
