Sometimes i feel heavy just above my bikini line, and it feels like slow moving ocean waves with no pain. Is this normal at 13 weeks of pregnancy? Im going to ask my Dr this at my next appointment, but i would like to know from some woman who have done this.

Yeah it is, but it is a good idea to ask your doctor about any concerns you have. Usually that feeling stems from your organs and diaphragm realigning themselves (becoming loose) in an effort to make room for growing baby. Usually the things to worry about are associated with cramping, pain, bleeding, swelling too much growth or no growth. I hope you have none of these symptoms.

If this is your first pregnancy, you tend to notice every detail and are very in tuned to how your body is changing and feeling at any given point during the pregnancy. If you are concerned, of course ask your doctor. Also, you can pick up some magazines about pregnancy and babies. Educate yourself so that you don't have to wait for your next appointment or for a call back from your doctor to find out if what you're going through is normal. Get that book, "What to expect when you're expecting.", or your doctor's office may have free magazines. One in particular I liked and learned a lot from was called "Baby".

I wish you the best!

To be on the safe side, definitely ask your doctor. Also, go out and get yourself the book "What to expect when you're expecting!" It is a very useful book for pregnancy. I used it a lot when I was pregnant. They also have a book "What to expect the first year!" They are both informative and quite helpful.

Good luck..............
