Nope, did my research - nothing happened. (Nothing is going to happen today either, by the way)

Reread the book of revelation(the origin of the whole 666 thing). It isn't just the numbers six six and six next to eachother, it is specifically 'six hundred, three score, and six' which means 600 60 6, or 666. It is NOT 06-06-06 or any other variant of three sixes put together.

i don't know, but i was wondering if people were as "silly" about June 6th in 1906, and 1806, as in 2006...saw on the news this morning women who had a due date today, were going to "hold off", try to "postpone" their child(rens) birth...i hate to say it but if the baby is ready, there is not much that can be done to prevent the birth, without risking the baby's or mother's life...just silliness.
the "end of world" happening in 2000 was more plausible; due to computers crashing, etc...but see nothing catastrophic happened then either.

666 is the number of the devil but it's not the number of the day when the world will end! nothing happened then and nothing will happen today

You can always look up newspapers from various large cities for that date, if you would like to quench your curiosity.
