There are quite a few slimy humans who appear to spend most of their time slithering around on their bellies. This may just be attractive to some snakes.
The first snake/human marriage ceremony was held in Slither, Missouri in the 1870's. The Reverend Arthur 'Forked-Tongue' Bluebottle officiated. The groom wore black, and the bride wore a fetching speckled outfit in alligator. She later left him for a lizard, and they settled in Alaska. Six months down the line she ate him.
