Bonds has been accused of steroids by sources that are not entirely reliable. Some of these sources include former baseball players Ken Caminiti, who died from drug use, and Jose Canseco, who freely admitted to steroid use and making out with Madonna. They also said they believed 50% of major leaguers used steroids. Even if only half of that number is true, why is Bonds being individually victimized? He broke the rules, even though there were no strict sanctions at the time against steroid use in Major League Baseball, but is he the only scapegoat?

Da_Bud_Smoka/ what are you talking about, steroids are illegal, why do you think congress launched a national investigation into baseball. But getting back to the point, Barry Bonds is not a cheat, he is a athlete, that because he made a couple bad decisions is being horribly crusified for it. Everyone is just on a witch hunt. A lot of athletes are speaking up when they should keep there mouth's shut. I know the only reason that people are hating barry bonds, is because it is easier to hate, than to like someone.

I am no Barry Bonds fan, but he has done nothing to warrant he be put in jail. He may be a self-centered prima donna, but he has broken no laws that I know of, only major league baseball rules regarding the taking of steroids.

I don't know that he should be in jail as the steroid he used wasn't "illegal" persay. However, he used the a type of steroid at a time in baseball when it wasn't against the rules there either.
Ethically and morally, he is wrong and shouldn't be awarded 2nd place in the record books. However, legally (even according to baseball rules) he's safe....unfortunately.

E. there is the story from the Nineteen Fifties while a reporter asked Ty Cobb how he could do contained in the prominent game. Cobb responded he could bat approximately .250. The reporter asked if that grew to become into because of the fact pitchers are a lot extra constructive than they have been in his day. Cobb responded, no that is because of the fact i'm seventy 5. yet i understand the genuine reason you're asking. If there have been the thank you to deliver those adult adult males back to their best, the Yankees could sign them, quite Johnson and Koufax. Burnett and Vazquez could be on waivers so speedy their heads could spin.

If Bonds wasn't Bonds, he'd be in prison for tax evasion and federal perjury.
But being Bonds might not save him for much longer.
Martha Stewart wasn't worried about the perjury charge either.
