Poison peanuts/wheat work. These are made by the W. R. Sweeney Company. Just leave them out in several locations where you have seen them. Make sure you refill as often as you need to. My guess is that you have so many, killing just a few is not putting a dent in the population. After a few weeks, you will find it is unnecessary to re-fill as often, then not at all. They WILL be gone!

I am amazed of the people out there that get all bent out of shape out of removing rodents. Chip monks are just that. A rodent, as is a rat or a mouse. They are destructive, dirty, and need to be removed. Several years ago, my parents had to have their poured patio removed because these cute little critters tunneled under it to the point it caused it to lower several inches and eventually cracked in two.

Give all the animal/roden lovers a week to clear them out and then the rest they cannot remove, you can. My guess is you won't get one acceptance to your offer.

Pellet gun, shovel, and a few spare time. I usually take a seat around and as quickly as I hear one chirping, I head outdoors and shoot it. they do no longer continually chirp, so specifically situations while i'm working outdoors, i will carry out my pellet gun merely in case I see one. I take them to the trench line in the outdoors and bury them. Any chipmunk is able to accumulating so assume all are one. i do no longer % to shoot them, yet I do it by means of fact they chew up the rubber seal on my storage door to get interior. I merely become bored of changing it each and every 3 hundred and sixty 5 days.

It seems that all of the answers require you to get a cat and that won't work since your hubby hates them as does mine. We have a dog that likes to play with them and when she is through playing they are usually dead or gone. There were four or five of them running around this spring but after we let our black lab/border collie mix have free reign of the back yard they are all gone.

You need the help Mother Nature's deadliest killer: the domestic cat. Get or borrow one or two cats; if they don't actually kill the chippies, they'll at least drive them away.

You can get traps that will bait them in. After you capture them, relocate them to a wooded area.
