Now, now...let's not pretend the States are innocent victims here. People know better than that. Let's just be honest and own up.

Nope. But I would be interested in what war crimes you think we have committed. No matter what 'crimes' you think the US has committed. When you stack them up against what some other countries have done they are nothing. Where were you or the UN when Rhwanda, Darfur, Somolia, Afghanistan under the Taliban, Iraq under Saddam and other places were going on. Those are crimes against humanity.

The UN is a paper tiger that seldom if ever does anything.

*LOL* You just dont like Bush. Admit it, fess up.

Question or declaration? Either way the answer is no. The United States as an entity should not be bought in front of the Tribunal for the following reasons:

1. There are just too many of us to try in a timely manner.

2. War crimes normally involve wars. The United States is not currently engaged by an opposing armed forces.

3. Crimes against humanity? Sure. There are certain decisions that have been made that shows that people with power made decisions directly in violation of our own laws along with international law.

Are you crazy? Of course not. The US has done more for this planet than any other nation that exists. Look at all the financial support he have provided on a yearly basis to other countries. Yes, there has been some collateral damage in order to make certain countries better places to live for their citizens but this is created by those countries themselves by their own actions. You have obviously taken for advantage the benefits and lifestyle you have come to appreciate in this country. Try moving to Somalia for a couple of years and then come back and answer your own question.

Yes, the US should be made to face the UN War Crimes Tribunal. Then it would be shown in an "official public arena" with all the witnesses and "proof" that they can come up with, that the US is hardly the evil empire that some would like us to believe.

No..War breeds inhumanity,I accept the losses that occur due to the fact it is wartime and every action done by the military is a reaction to the situation at hand..I dont condone the actions of the USA ,in fact some things are just appauling, but I often ask myself, how do the other countries treat the USA when they are at their mercy?I support the troops and the President at all times..anything less is unamerican..

Regarding their actions in the gulf? No, you can't bring a nation altogether to respond for the actions of a few, bring the leaders, the persons who have been elected to act for the majority and have a nominative civil action.
A nation is, first and foremost, an Ideal and a goal.
And as for the USA, you should check out world history and see what this Nation has done for the world, before attempting to get it in a trial.

Anyone who has seen the pictures of the AbuGharib prison should say YES. Bush is hiding whatever is going on down there at Guantanimo Bay. Yes, certain military individuals and maybe even the President himself should be left accountable for embarrassing the country.

I don't like the idea of the UN stepping in, but obviously the US isn't keeping itself in check. Arresting somebody and keeping them in jail for years without a trial is in direct conflict with our own constitution and congress should hold the president accountable.

This is crime against humanity and only covers about a tenth of what the so called followers of "Allah the all merciful." have done and are still doing.
