You have confused.space air will not touch the earth.

There really is no air out in the space. Space is pretty much a vacuum with an insignificant amount of hydrogen and dust. Our Earth is protected from space by our atmosphere, composed of mostly nitrogen and oxygen. So unless our atmosphere disappears, space will not touch our Earth.
