afraid? i dont think so. it is just that adults know that the kids are just not grown up to undestand the complexity of the whole thing.

I am not. If my kids are old enough to ask, I tell them, on a level that is comprehensible to them.
I told my 5 1/2 yr. old daughter that God takes a piece of the mommy, and a piece of the daddy, and puts it in her belly to carry until the baby is ready to be born. There is no baby without a balance of man/woman, and that's why we have daddys

They are not afraid...just they hesitate. As they know , out curosity and innocence kids may ask some questions which may not be explained to them at their level of intelligence.

they just don't want to say the "mummy and daddy had sex" part. that's why adults are scared to tell little kids where babies really came from.

Because that information could cause kids to "explore" too early if they aren't mature enough to handle it. Once you have that info, you view the whole world differently. People want their kids to remain innocent as long as possible.

coz they think that the babies are immature to understand the real logic behind this.the babies would get confused and will ask some other nonsense ques regarding this

i don't think they are afraid. i think it is because it is difficult to explain everything. (and afraid that the kids will try it!)
