The boy is a genious, yes yes yes! England don't have a hope without him, even if he isn't fully fit 30 minutes at the end of a game he could completely turn it by himself. Someone said England have good enough players to win it without him, they don't, its a pale team with no shape and no direction in their play, this tournament is crying out for a Rooney after Greece winning Euro 3004 we need some epic world cup moments to keep international football alive!

No, we have enough good players to win the world cup without Rooney. What if he gets injured again when he's not 100% recovered? I know that Rooney being out there with the team will give them a boost, even though he does not participate. There is no need to exacerbate his injury. It is not worth it.

No, it's not worth it. No player who is unfit should be played in such a tournament. This can jeopardise their future career - look at Ronaldo when he was played in the 1998 World Cup.

Not at all. Ferguson will be the most unhappy man if you do so. But England can win even without him, why make an issue of it.
They have wonderful players. But can they beat Brazil?

NOT straight away leave him out first few games, then maybe bring him on as a sub.
the other teams will obviously know his weak foot and go for the tackle each time
