About stitches...?

i got stitches last night n its still bleeding a little is it bad? wat does it mean?

No, that's not necessarily a bad thing; deep cuts will sometimes bleed lightly or intermittently for hours. You should try to get some extra rest for a couple of days, so that your body can devote extra resources to the job of healing the laceration. If the bleeding persists, go back to the doctor who stitched you up and get it checked just to be on the safe side. Take care.

A little bit of bleeding is normal. More like oozing. If it's bleeding freely, go back to the hospital and have them re-evaluate it. My son has had stitches in the past and they oozed a bit of blood for the first day. Also, if you move the area suddenly and pull the stitches (you will definitely feel this), bleeding will occur. If it doesn't stop on it's own after a short time, go to the hospital. I've had stitches and they've oozed also.

It's not bad if it's bleeding a lil, but you are doing good by keeping an eye on it, another thing you can try is to put pressure on it if it don't hurt too much for the bleeding, also keep an eye for infection that can be bad and if you notice too much redness or some oozing of puss go get it looked at othter than that just keep it clean and aired don't apply too much bandage unless it's loose.

you want to go back to the hospital if it's been bleeding the whole time. if it just started bleeding it's probably because you moved your hand in a way that opened it up, it should stop within a few minutes, go to the hospital if it doesn't.

no, itz fine, itz normal. it bleeds less the less you move around ( i think because of the blood circulation) blieve me, i know, i have about 200-250 stitches in my body
