Two of the dogs died - the first was the oldest, he died at the base camp, still chained to the line. He didn't break away with the others. The other dog died later on in the film - I can't remember exactly what happened, but I think he was injured. I hated it that they lost two of the dogs, but it was a real miracle any of them survived at all! It was a good movie & we enjoyed it.

The old dog died, one of the twin's died, also. Some of the dog's acted like they didn't want to run back at the end, but all of them survived, except for the old dog, and the twin.

They died. *sobz*
The oldest one, which was the one that didn't break away from the chain, died of old age. The other one, if I didn't remember wrongly, died after it fell down a cliff.
This movie is touching and fantastic!

The one that was very old died. And the 2nd also passed away, remember when the dogs all stayed by it when it was covered in snow.....
