I would choose the life as I'm accustomed to. I've made some terrible mistakes in it and I've had some huge successes. But it has all made me who I am. I'm an extremist. I believe in taking everything as far as I can. I wouldn't want an extended life that offered any less than that. Rather, I'd choose the life, however long, that let me live it to the fullest.

Difficult and good question.

If I already had children, I would definitely choose an extended life with 50% limitations. When my father died when I was eleven, I know how important it is to have your parents in your life, no matter what limitations they have.

There are so many things I want to still see and do, I still believe that with or without children, I would take the extended life with 50% limitations, even if I was not able to "do" the things or "see" the things I want to.

Even with limitations, there is so much I want to contribute to my family, to my friends, and hopefully to the community in which I live.

I know I sound like Pollyanna, but it's how I feel.

I would be content with the shorter life. But make it as full as it could possibly be. Like a bowl of popcorn filled to overflowing....that will gradually work its way down to the unpoppables that you can not eat. Then......I'll be content to walk away knowing that the part I consumed totally outweighed that which I was not able to experience.

What sort of limitations are you talking about. The self imposed or the ones imposed upon you?
I already accept that I can't behave as I did in my 20's or 30's and I have some more improvement to make. But I think it sort of sucks.

I AM going to quit the ciggies soon. Really truly.
