You can eat most things. You are advised against eating anything unpasturised eg home made mayonaise etc and soft/blue cheeses. Also if you have an allergy nuts in your family you might want to steer clear of those while your pregnant. Too much tuna is not recommended due to high mercury levels and too much liver due to high vitamin A. Other than that just make sure everything is cooked thoughly and not rare meat ect. hope this helps. Get onto Bounty.co.uk. they give you free packs of samples and stuff and also a booklet every few months relating to the stage in pregnancy you are up to and they have all this kind of info in. I found them very helpful plus their bookletsgo right up til your baby is a toddler!

be carefull about raw meat or under cooked meat and worst of all make sure salad stuff is wash better than you have ever washed it because there can be a bug in it which can harm your unborn baby and can make them termanily ill.
If you can stay away from mayo too uncooked eggs is not a good thing for unborn children.
And the usual dont smoke, dont drink and all that.
although it is said that if you drink a guinness occasionly its good for you because of the iorn in it.
Try looking on pampers.com or failing that ask your midwife.

Your midwife will give you information on this. Examples that I know of are soft cheeses like brie, liver or liver products like pate, anyhting with a raw egg this includes some mayonnaises and coleslaw, anything made from unpasturised milk - soft icreams like the ones from MacDs, peanuts.
