The Marlins have said over and over that they're not going to trade Dontrelle Willis.
And if they were, they'd want more than just Lastings Milledge. It would probably take 2 or 3 top prospects (Milledge, Bannister, Humber, etc.) to get Dontrelle Willis.
It's not worth it. Especially for a guy who's been struggling with his control this year.

I don't think it would go through. While Milledge is young and talented, so is Willis. People forget that since Dontrelle has been in the league for 3 or 4 years. Willis will turn out to be a fantastic player, as will Milledge. Florida is looking to rebuild right now and I think they're rebuilding around Hanley Ramirez and some left-handed pitcher with a high leg kick and a big stick.

Absolutely!! Willis needs a change of scenery. He still has great "stuff," and he would make a great addition to the Mets' pitching rotation. I'd make that trade in a New York minute!!

no...the marlins would want more than one prospect for d-train and as good as d-train is he's too inconsistent to justify giving away multiple top level prospects...he needs to learn how to pitch and win without his a-stuff for this to make any sense...milledge is a stud and will be a star within a couple of years

i'm a braves fan, but....
oh heck no! milledge has the tools to be a superstar with the mutts. maybe dontrelle is on a temporary downside but it shows that he's going to be inconsistent until he learns how to 'pitch'
