I think what happens is many people get married before they realize the responsibility that this involves. Sure the wedding day is great, a big party where all of your friends bring you gifts and your the center of attention but after that, the two of you both need to make an effort at all times to keep things interesting, fun and loving. Many people are just not mature enough when they marry. I think that is the issue most of the time.

This is because most people marry for the wrong reasons. Men and women are both like this. If you do not marry for the right reason or reasons then dont ever say i do to begin with. It comes down to the matters of the heart!

pressure from the family, society, sometimes girlfriend. a lot of people seem to have a perception that around the two and a half year mark there need to be a decision of where the relationship is going. either they get married or they break up. as couples you know, chances are he proposed around two and a half years.
i don't get it though. two and a half years ot ouf a lifetime is not that much.

it's not only the guys. i nearly did the 'marriage' thing before but i backed out. it is easy for people to get caught up in the fairytale of it all. some people think they leave it too late to back out and go ahead with it anyway.
i got really scared and started asking questions and having doubts. when that starts happening you know you shouldn't be doing it. it scares me tho. maybe thats because i haven't found the 'one' i want to marry YET!!!!!!

marriage is the unity of two individuals to make a new life n a family. who says men are not ready if they weren't then our ancestors or our fathers, grandfathers would b bachelor till now. n v might not have been born. Men are always reaady for anything

Well even though men like to run around, we HATE being alone. That is the reason that we run around quite often. Many times, men will run around with lots of women because they are scared that when/if you REALLY know them, you will leave quickly. If you do, they wont be alone because they will have someone else.

They do it either to please their parents or because they have discovered they are getting old but wether they are ready for this role becomes unknown until they involve themselves in marriage only to discover the other true side of marriage.

thats because a man feels he needs someone to make his house a home.he also needs someone to give him kids and just make his life complete.though at the same time he feels life doesnt stop after marriage.
