I remember going to legoland when I was five, and I had the time of my life! there was tons of artwork (built of legos of course) and the most amazing rides for a 5 year old!Legoland is the perfect park for the kid who has grown out of seeing princesses and mickey mouse at disneyland, and who is starting to want to explore there surroundings and be an adventurer. Also, your child will probably want some legos too, so , give them some! When I was little, I always had some legos around, and it kept me occupied and content. Also, I believe that the legos made me much more creative.they are pretty cheap too (inexpensive).

Legoland is cool, and great for younger kids. There are rides and activities and most are family orientated. it's a good days out. Better than other theme parks in my opinion.

To be perfectly honest, its a nice day out but really really expensivefor what amounts to a mega-pile of plastic bricks. Take your own food as you get ripped off.. there is plenty to do there, but jsut be warned that a 2nd mortgage may be required if your 5 year old eats like mine did!! Other than that,, have fun!! Sorry to sound so negative!!

legoland is like 5 year old crack.
he'll go ballistic, i mean, the entire city is made out of legos, there's a million building stations to build your own junk and even some race tracks to race against other people.
it just depends on his personality type. like, if he loves legos, if he likes to build stuff, or if he is the smiley happy type.

I took my 5 year old and 7 year old a few years ago and found it great although very big with lots of walking. Everything was geared towards children, including extra large loo cubicles with space for mum + child + stroller!

Very Entertaining, although if you decide to go take your own picnic, food can work out very expensive
