Ireland is a close neighbour to England.
Join in with the spirit of things and wear the kits, rather than being the outsider.
People who don't live in Manchester support Man U & wear the kit, you live in the U.K, you live in England it's totally acceptable to wear the kit

If you feel happy wearing the England kit, do so. If you want to join in the celebrations/commiserations, it will be easier if you are wearing the England kit.
Don't wear the kit if you think it will be going against anything you believe in, or the fact that you are Irish.
Personally, as an English lass, I will be hiding from the World Cup. I hate football.

Since Ireland aren't in the world cup, surely it would be more fun to have someone to support? However, if you really feel you don't want to support England, then don't wear the kit.

NO way should you wear the England kit. I am from Scotland and live in England. No way am I wearing it. I would just wear a white t-shirt and then you are neutral.

No mate don't give in! Like Joc I'm a Scot living in England and I'll be supporting the promised Land rather than these southern pansies (only joking, by the way- no need to get upset, you Sassenach poofs!)
Have pride lad, and go with the Shamrock, even if they aren't in the Cup!

That would be like selling your soul to the devil. Be neutral bide your time England will hopefully make it to the final and get cuffed by Brazil the unfortunate thing is we will still have to listen to the commentators prattle on about 1966 for the next 4 years. Funny how then never mention 1066 when they got cuffed at Hastings by the French, that was 'One in the eye for them'.
