If new houses are built existing postmen/postwomen will have to work longer hours or more posties will have to be employed in the area. Does the Royal Mail suffer every time a new house is built, or do they just put the price of stamps up? Do the government help out? What happens?!

(Someone suggested that post will not be delivered to the old house, so no new posties will have to be employed - someone usually moves into the old house. The population is increasing.)

Are they really NEW customers if they move into a new house? People presumably got post at their previous address, for example, if they lived with parents. If they move out, that would be twice as much work for a postie.
