Actually...He doesn't have to. He's Alpha and Omega, our beginning and our end. He already knows what our decisions, actions, thoughts are going to be; even before we do.
Revelation 21:6
6: And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
Any recording is for our benefit, when the great white throne judgement occurs.
