Hi is it serial ATA some have issues with repairs etc. I would remove all cards and format using full format installing windows. shut down and insert cards then install drivers making sure its not installing generic drivers. once thats done restart and check device mannager for errors.we come accross issues where windows wont format even though you would expect it to be done
most time its hard drive playing up
check all IDE ATA cables and set bios as default
good luck

after installing the xp its hangs?.. or after installing new software or hardware?

if u sure its problem with VGA Card u should download the VGA Card driver from the net. and go to safe mode and delete the vga from device manager it'll ask u 2 restrat !!! restart the computer and it'll try 2 install old VGA driver, cancel it.. and install the new driver!!!!

first of all, please see whether all the cards are seated properly in the computer... then go to safe mode and see whether you have any program in the startup... remove all of them from msconfig and startup menu.. even the antivirus..then try to restart.. now if the problem is still there, then uninstall graphic, sound, usb, network drivers and then restart the computer... if it restarts, be careful what you install from now on... ;-)
