It depends where your family and their ancestors came from.Unless another family member has done the research,you will have to do it yourself by studying relevant genealogical records,or alternatively pay a professional researcher to do the research.This can be expensive unless you have some family records or are related to somebody with a famous historical background.Try all your known relatives first,for any background information.They may already know most of it.
