My daughter's recital is the weekend. She has two different dance teachers. I would like to get them each a gift, but NOT flowers. She's been in dance classes with both of these ladies for 3 years. Thanks in advance for any unique, but not too expensive gift ideas.

A music box with a dancer.....or even one that just plays a special song that they may have taught their dance lessons to.

All ladies love music boxes.

There is a CD of beautiful piano music played by a blind woman who was self taught through her faith in god. I've always wanted to hear it. I would think this would be the most uplifting gift for a dance teacher, especially one so inspired. I am sure any Christian book and music store could supply it. It shows that art goes beyond our five senses.. Blessings and inspiration. Maybe yahoo questions could provide her name.

Candles are great, especially the big jar candles. I prefer Yankee brand candles, but there are a lot of good ones out there, like Keeper of the Light and Old Village. Check gift shops in your area for ideas as well as the Internet.
