It is not your computer,it's the page and the amount and size of the graphics. The more complex the page, the longer it takes to load.

The number of people accessing the site can make a big difference, think of it as one hundred people trying to fit through a single door. Also, whats on the site, a large amount of java, java script etc. will slow it down.
p.s. A great way to speed up time for your website to load is css, it really sped mine up!

It depends on the websites server and how much traffic it can handle, if it's a website on a small server then it can't handle as much traffic as a big server and so goes slow when a lot of people use it at once.

it will probably be the website
If the same website always takes time to load, the website is heavy on resources and your browser needs to download alot..
if the same website loads fast at one time and slowly at another, it can be either the website server that is creating the problem, or your ISP (internet service provider) sever that is likely to be down.... hope this helps

It depends on how powerful the server that is hosting that website. The more bandwidth and stronger connection/better hardware the server has, the faster the website will load.

It could be all of the other answers and also another important factor, that is your ISP. If your ISP is over sold, you get less bandwidth than what was promised to you, or plain simple you have signed up for a dial-up connection. In that case try to upgrade it to DSL.

Because when a site has too much users it slows down. It also slows down when too many questions are asked at the same time. The first thing has too do with other sites also.

It all depends on the amount of graphics on the page to upload to your computer...
