sorry haven't seen it and it doesn't interest me more than the book not that I discredit either as I have no idea of truth.
The only thing I know is the Catholic Church is the king of repression of human dignity, sensuality and the voice of god speaking through sincere individual souls like in India and Nepal.
In India the respect for god is so great that if someone puts a tattoo of god's symbol near their feet the people will gather to cut their leg off because the feet are considered dirty. They respect their gods so devoutly and the rest of the world could learn to listen more than reading their archaic black books. Ever wonder why bibles are usually black, the colour of the devil?
India is blessed in ways unknown for their eternal devotion in my opinion.

I guess it would've been good if I'd not read the book. The movie had WAY too many changes for my liking.

iam in chennai ..its banned here..my gf went to b'lore for admission in a collage .she planned watch it their..she didnt get ticket..so have u watched it how is it..they say that the novel is better than the movie...

It is interesting movie but it doesn't impress me much. I was waiting for more outstanding movie.There is to much fuss about it.
