Hey Alisha, dont be too worried. since you've always had an irregular cycle, this isn't very serious. Tell you mom and go see a doc. As long as you haven;t been up to anything that would get you pregnant, that shouldn't be a problem.

I have no idea what you are trying to ask. There are too many discrepancies in what you wrote. For instance, you *can't* always be late!! If your cycles are usually 35 days, then some might be shorter and/or some might be longer, but they can't *all* be longer than the norm or average!

The first few years when you start having your period, they can be very irregular--sometimes 25 days, sometimes 40, etc.

If you always have several days of bleeding, and this time you only had 1 day of spotting, this *could* be the sign of pregnancy. Are you having sex? You coul be pregnant. Have you ever "almost" had sex--like when a boyfriend ejaculated outside you when you were naked? In this case, it's unlikely but still possible for you to have gotten pregnant.

Talk to your mother. If you don't think she could support you, talk to another adult. But please talk to *someone*.

why should you be scared? you're still fairly young.. so its normal they are irregular. for many, the periods stay irregular till in their 20s, for others it stays that way for ever.

if you're really worried, see a doctor, a gynecologist. You cant be pregnant because it wouldn't have come at all, and if you said there is no reason why you should be, then why are you worried.

it could be the weather change, diet, stress or simple changes in the body... perhaps you will get it now and it will last longer.
stay calm, don't worry and if you are see a doc.. especially if when your periods come they are painful.. the doc might give you something that could help.

If you are sure that you are not pregnant, meaning you have not had sex., because that is the only way that you can be sure,. then I'm sure its nothing to be worried about. But it is common to spot a little bit at the regular time of your period when you are pregnant. some women will spot at the time of month they would normally have their periods all through out pregnancy. Have you been to a gynecologist yet. every young girl who has started having periods and might be having sexual relations should see a doctor and have a pap smear at least once a year. take care of yourself and never be afraid to talk to your mother about thing like this. she might surprise you.

Try not to be too scared. Pregnancy would occur if you had sexual intercourse & you write you are not pregnant so we can assume you haven't had intercourse. You seem to be forthright with your mom so continue to do so. She may have you see a doctor to make sure all is well. During exam times there can be a LOT of stress which can affect your menstrual cycle. If you continue being really anxious it may cause more changes in your menstrual cycle. So, go talk to someone, preferably a nurse or doctor & allay your fears. Good Luck.

If you haven't had sex you have nothing to worry about, it could be stress. But, have you been eating well?? Periods are also dependent on your weight.... I am a University student and I got really stresses one year and couldn't eat well. I lost a lot of weight and my periods almost went, so that could be the problem. I suggest you see a doctor

If you period has always been irregular then just go see your doc, ask for the pill or something. It'll help regulate you. Having an irregual period can be bad sometimes, health wise I heard, so talk to your doc he/she'll know!

You are still young and irregular. There is nothing to be afraid about. Take it as it comes.
