that is soooo important , that they refuse to give up thier pictures , or thier letters , or other memorabilia of the person ? Do you think that a husband , or a wife could ever make you get rid of these things? And , if someone really cared about you , don't you think that they would still have these things as well ?

Always remember where u are coming from. Its gud to keep memories of past relationships, cos it makes u remember the mistakes and the good things that make a difference now.

I know it's a cliche but time really will eradicate the need for the memorabilia. I had someone very special in my life, someone I thought I'd spend my whole life with and when our relationship ended I never thought I'd move on or be able to throw out the letters etc. But I'm now very happily married to someone else and even the old photos have gone! I know it sounds patronising but it really will get better ... I promise :)

im sure there are people but it is not impossible to let go of your past no matter howmuch they mean to you. It will also be less of a hassle for them as they go thru life. Coz a past like that always interferes the present!

We all have that box of old stuff. It is not odd, but it can cause some jealousy sometimes. Just keep it out of the way.
