amoun of heat = sp.ht. x mass x change in temperature

amoun of heat / mass = sp.ht. x change in temperature

change in temperature = (amoun of heat / mass )/sp.ht.

change in temperature = 500 Gy / (1cal/gdegC)

change in temperature = (500 cal / 4187 g) / (1cal/gdegC)

change in temperature = 0.12 degC
