why do women are so obssesed with make up?can't they live a simple life?

for some women doing their make-up is a simple life. u dont have to look like a clown and put ten pounds of it on to live a simple life!!!!i love doing mine it looks nice to most people!!

Well some women do go overboard with it...and yes it is just another way to make money and to spend it for that matter. However, it's just another way to help us girls get to the "perfection" we strive for and some women can go without make up if I could I would but my skin isn't all that perfect. Maybe it is a crutch but hell it makes me feel a little better about myself if I've got a blemish yea I'm gonna cover it up you really wanna look at the bright red creater on my face lol then fine but I don't like it so it's gonna get hidden the best way I know how...make up.

Now as for the girls that don't need to wear it and do thats a pity because as I said before if I didn't have to wear make-up I wouldn't not only is it messy but sucks to have that much crap in my purse.

When I was younger I wear full make-up to work. I feel more presentable. I can't imagine going to work without make-up. Now that I don't work I reduce the use of make-up. When I go shopping, I don't use foundation sometimes, just loose powder and lipstick.

Make-up is to hide their blemishes, so the females can be more presentable at work, social function and etc.

Eventually those with make-up will attract more attention than those without the paint job.

Females go throught these trouble all in the name of vanity, also for us, mere male. So we find them more attractive.

its just nice to "feel pretty" sometimes, its natural for girls to want to dress up sometimes, which includes making u feel the best u can, and when u put on the makeup and jewellery, just makes the person feel so much more fashionable and prettier, its just in the girls system which most guys dont have or understand

I can live without make-up...I rarely even wear it...Only on special occasions (Like saying to my cousin-in my own little way-"I'm better and prettier than you and boys like me better", or to some formal dinner...) My opinion in people who wear aton of make-up is "They dont like the way they look so they make themselves look uglier"-For the people who dont know how to put their make-up on... And "They d ont like the way they look so they put all this heavy dutystuff on their faces to supposedly make them feel good about themselves...But in some cases can give you horrible skin"

I don't wear make up at all...It makes the skin look older and if you wear it too much eventually you wont be able to not wear it.
