Hi!!!! I havnt posted a Q in a long time.....but for those of u who have not answered one of my Q's before i am in 6th grade and this is a project due tomarrow so i need a good answer and the rite answer....THANKS PEPES!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you mean SERFS? They worked for the Lord of the Manor. Tilled his land several days a week, herded his animals, and whatever else needed doing around his manor. It does not take place today - it's history.

I don't think the serfs have been around for awhile, man. They worked for nobles back in the days of castles and catapults.
I'm sure you're social studies book or whatever class its for would have a much better answer than that.

Go read your text book or do your own research. This is not a forum for cheating on your homework and being lazy. No teacher in his/her right mind would ever consider Yahoo! Answers to be a reliable source of information. Sorry that your project is due tomorrow... I guess you're going to be up all night researching it, huh? I guess you should have started when the assignment was given!
