Yes, all my friends, my childhood friends are older than me. It's cool.
I think it's better to have older friends than friends that are near my age.

Yes i have a friends closer to my mums age and this came about because i am a young mum, when my son started school i made friends with older mums through volunteer work. I actually find i get along better with my older friends because i am not into partying and that sort of stuff. They also have great advice and are more loyal.

Ofcourse i do have friends who are not of my age..the colony which i live in have many people in many age groups and we sit togeather and chat about any subject..not about censored things to be sure with.
But Best friends should be of the same age catagory as it eliminates the generation gaps..but nothing is a rule here you ahve to find a person who is understanding.

My best friend is 7 yrs younger then me, sometimes it is annoying when you ty to reference something and he has not clue as to what I am talking about. But he keeps me young.
Plus I am part of a grp where 3 different generations are represnted--30, 40, 50.

of course....I am 53...by b/f is 36.....I like younger guys...he likes older women...we have been together for 7 years....so it works for us. My best girlfriend is 17 years older than me....Age is just a number...I have found that out in life....like fine wine....ages with time.

Of course I do, some are older than me and some are younger than me...Age is no big issue, thats what makes life interesting..
