They can make an educated guesstimate based on the size of the fetus.

they can approximate it but getting the right day is difficult cz the fetus might be growing more or less than the standard rate. but don't worry it differs for up to a week only, no big deal :]

They can do ultrasounds to estimate you due date if you are not sure of the date of you last period.
