RE:
how much do you spend a month on diapers for you little one?
I have a baby & I spend about $35 a month in diapers, a lot of my friends say this is not enough, but I think I take good care of my baby & change his little bum about 5-6 times a day. Maybe I just buy cheap diapers. For all you parents, how much do you spend a month & what brand do you use? I buy...

Seriously, I'd bring a change of clothes and a few diapers. A blanket/sweater if it's going to be chilly like you said, and the baby carrier/sling. You're really overthinking this. I go out all day with my 3 year old and 3 month old regularly. I wear baby in the sling, bring the stroller if needed for the three year old, and have a few more diapers than I normally would. There's no need for a suitcase.

I buy pampers (size 6) for 17.47 a pack. I buy between 4 and 5 packs per month. I change him 8-10 times per day. I think that the brand of diaper does not make the mother but the brand is just a personal choice. I have used pampers on all of my babies as personal preference. Don't worry I think you are doing just fine.

I spend $25/month on Pampers BabyDry size 3. I think there are about 150 diapers in the box. I buy them on sale and use coupons.

i guess i'm a bad parent because i use luvs and i spend about 9 dollars about every week. a pack of 48 size three diapers lasts me about a week to a week and a half. i change her 5-6 times a day, and some days more but i only buy diapers when i am almost out. i don't buy them ahead of time.

I have to buy size 3 and I spend almost 43.00 a month on diapers....I have learned that the cheap ones or the generic are not always the best solution...they leak more and you go through more...so you have to buy more!

Things are really cheap in this modern age, aren't they?
To think, back in the dark ages (like before the 1970s) people used cloth diapers and they cost nothing per month, apart from the initial outlay.
If only they knew what we know now!

Sounds like your friends need to chill out a bit. Seriously, they're questioning how often you change your kid's diaper? Next time, offer to let them do it!
My kids are both out of diapers now, but we bought a "jumbo" package each week.
