seriously...i was dating this guy and i told him that i was bi and he acted like he was ok with it, but then he never talked to me again....i think maybe they get intimidated and think that they might get dumped for a chick. you are not alone.

Some men are scared of bisexual women because of major misconceptions about bisexuality. They feel that a bisexual woman is either going to want a "threesome" involving another male, or may have an affair with another woman. They also fear that bisexuals carry AIDS (assuming a bisexual has sex with a gay person - don't forget the other major misconception that being gay "automatically" gives you AIDS). All these are major misconceptions, and continue to make life difficult (and add to the confusion felt by) for bisexuals.

Men have a problem about sex generally, (not all men). They think that women think the same way men do about sex, Which 'in the mans eye' makes her the predator, its this that scares them. Women are far more laid back and mature about sex, men have a lot of hangups about it.

Who knows? maybe you dated the wrong guys?! because I am NOT afraid, quite opposite, I would be happy to have a bisexual girl as a friend. (I only met bisexual boys until now)
