Between the PS2 and the original X-Box, I would recommend the PS2 only because it has a larger library. The graphics are grainy and there's almnost no support for modern televisions (only a few titles aren't stuck in 480i) and online support is terrible, but there is a good selection of games. Be wary of the shoddy build quality of the PS2.

I bought an xbox last year.I had it for 2 months and it stop working.Then a orange light showed on the front of my xbox.I took it back and I bought a ps2.All in all a ps2 is better.

the playstation 2 is better it pass the xbox it is in tie with the xbox 360 and and even the xbox company know this.

I like the PS2 for it's games, but the XBox for everything else =)

I have a PS2 and love it...haven't ever played on a x box though. I think the PS2 controllers are big aren't they? Wouldn't it be uncomfotable to hold? Maybe I'm wrong, idk.
