I thought Macaffee was the best and spysweeper keep asking me to renew with them. Am I alright to just keep Macaffee.

Well, I don't recommend you to have quite a number of spyX or spyZ software in your computer. MacAfee virus scan is ok but not as strong as it thought. Do regular cleanup using System Mechanic where you wil find a lot of useful build in software inside the software rather than installing a number of it.

It is a good idea to have a few anti-spyware programs on your computer
What one misses the other may pick up
I have three - spybot search and destroy - lavasoft adaware & zonelabs
