My period was due last week but so far nothing happened. I am surely not preg as i did 2 tests.
I've been having period cramps all week and always thought it was about to come but it never did.
Are there any natural remedies to make the period come?
Usually when i have sex it aways come the day after but not this time!

If you took two tests and they both came back negative, then relax, I know it is scary, I have been there, I also have very irregular periods at times, sometimes I would have 2 periods a month then other times I would have one every other month,. But I would still get the cramps and pms symptoms even when I skipped the periods. My Gyn put me on a higher dose birth control pill and it seems to be helping so far. Good luck.

If you are young and healthy, there is probably nothing wrong. Sometimes stress and things like that can hold you up. But if you are older, it could be the beginning of menopause. It it gets to be a regular problem, you should get it checked out. Incidently, my periods were so irregular (sometimes as much as 50 or 60 days between them) that I never could tell when I had gotten pregnant and never knew for sure when the babies were due.

If you are only a week or less late, you could be pregnant and had a false negative test. According to *impartial* testing, most pregnancies tests are only highly accurate a full week after your missed period.

You should also know that sex will *not* cause your period to start! That is a dangerous thing to think--it can lead to pregnancy.

Please read the book, _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler. It will explain to you just how your body works.

if you're sure you followed the test instructions properly, just try to wait patiently for your period. sometimes they play tricks on us... if you've got the cramps, sounds like it's just taking its sweet time to come. also, stress can delay your period, so try to relax!! (easier said than done.)

but um... one thing that might kill 2 birds with one stone, is orgasms. no joke. seems to work for me!

anyway, if you're still worried and not bleeding in a week or so, try another test, making sure to follow the instructions explicitly. good luck!

How old are you? If you are still young there is nothing wrong with you. If you are on the older side I would go and see a doctor.
