There are a few unisex bathrooms (called "family rooms") in the mall in Battle Creek, Michigan. But they do not have stalls, just a couple of toilets in the open with a couple of sinks and a baby changing area. There are unisex bathrooms in Walmart as well, but only have one toilet and sink.

In Albuquerque, at a store I will not name, there was a unisex bathroom. It was one stall and one urinal. The only people I ever saw go in together where families or couples. The main door to the bathroom was lockable, so many people would just go in alone and lock it. Oh, and there was only one sink.

That's the closest I've ever seen. But I doubt that anything more than that exists in the US.

Some offices have unisex facilities, but public ones do not exist. There is too much fear of harrassment and rape for women and men to use the same public bathrooms. I have never seen any and I doubt that most women would use them if they existed.

I've only seen a bathroom where it was a single toilet and sink, and a changing table. It was intended especially for parents with children. That way you can have privacy, and not leave your opposite sex child outside of the bathroom unsupervised. That is never a good idea if the child is not as large as an adult.

When I was in Ethiopia I used to visit the hot spring swimming pool and tourist place called Sodray. There they had unisex bathrooms. Similarly I have seen in Bali Island and Sydney. But I have not seen in USA

There are bathrooms with single toilet that people of opposite sex may use... but I have never seen a multi toilet bathroom with stalls that BOTH men and women go in at the same time.

Yes. I have seen plenty of them. They are usually called "family resrooms" because they are supposed to be for parents to take children of either sex into the restroom with them, but I'm sure people use them for "other" reasons. I have seen them in places like wal-mart. There is also a mall in Georgia that has family restrooms.

Yes they are in Walmarts all over the country, a lot of restaurants have them also. They are like any normal bathroom, except all stalls are in enclosed units.
